What Will You Stand For?
Gage sees everything as a design challenge. Whether designing an object, a business, a community, or anything in between, he believes that both the process and the solution must aim to bring about a better world, for all. That’s why he founded the brand design agency, Modern Species, and the Brands for a Better World podcast – to help design a more just, healthy, and regenerative world through purpose-driven strategy, sustainable design, and compelling storytelling. He also serves as the Creative Director of the marketing collaborative, Kindship Group, as the Co-Chair of the Washington B Corp Collective, and he's helping reboot the Seattle chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design. Gage's passion lies at the intersection of design, business, sustainability, and food.
The UX Speaker Series is hosted Thursdays in Winter Quarter by the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. Presentations are open to the public.
Depending on the speaker's preference, a recording will be posted to this webpage after the event. View the full schedule at hcde.uw.edu/ux.
