Empowering Decisions with Consumer Insights: A Brooks Running Approach
Join us as we introduce the Brooks Consumer Insights Team and explore how we identify critical stakeholder decisions that drive success. Discover how tailored research methods and design-focused insights enable us to deliver impactful and actionable outcomes across the organization. We'll be focusing on physical concept testing and stakeholder management.
Rita-Louise Wakehnhi:iostha Friendly (She/Her) is a Design Researcher at Brooks and likes to focus on bringing creativity and light to her work and her team. She brings out of the box ideas and the gumption to make them tangible. She has worked at Brooks for 4 years (her longest job stretch) and loves that people pay her to be curious and ask probing questions. She's rejuvenated by time away from work, loves knitting & sewing, and when her hands are cramping from that she's probably playing video games.
Devanshi Chauhan (She/Her) is a Senior Consumer Insights Qualitative Researcher at Brooks Running, where she drives impactful projects ranging from enhancing loyalty experiences to pioneering a research protocol for pre-shoe-release consumer insights. Devanshi has also played a pivotal role in introducing more equitable methodologies and bringing new-to-Brooks consumers into the fold. She thrives on creating structures and workshops that empower her fellow researchers and stakeholders to do their best work. Before joining Brooks, she spent nine months at Blink UX, where she gained valuable experience in the agency model of research and design. Outside of work, Devanshi enjoys lifting heavy things and putting them down, exploring pottery and clay, and playing board games with friends. Fun fact: she’s not a runner!
The UX Speaker Series is hosted Thursdays in Winter Quarter by the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. Presentations are open to the public.
Depending on the speaker's preference, a recording will be posted to this webpage after the event. View the full schedule at hcde.uw.edu/ux.
