My 1st CHI Conference was one for the books! Hosted in Hamburg, Germany, CHI turned out to be an experience I will never forget. With its largest turnout yet, I was able to assist in a seamless operation while surviving as a student volunteer. The opportunity afforded me the chance to connect with like-minded scholars who shared a passion for human-computer interaction work like my own.
The CHI conference served as a gateway for me to foster professional connections and provided exposure to cutting-edge research as I attended captivating talks by renowned authors. It was a truly remarkable experience, leaving a lasting impact on my academic and personal development. I am so grateful to my advisors Daniela Rosner and Katharina Reinecke, whose guidance was instrumental in making it an unforgettable event. I am also appreciative to my lab mates Jay Cunningham, Rock Pang, Tal August, and others for their support throughout the conference. I can’t wait for the chance to present at future CHI conferences!
