HCDE values the contributions, knowledge and experience of long-term employees. In appreciation of this dedicated service to not only the university, but also to the department, HCDE would like to recognize staff as they reach milestone anniversaries of employment for every five (5) years of continuous service. 

Staff is defined as all permanent contract covered, classified and professional staff, and intermittent classified staff. 

Full-time active employees become eligible for a service award every 5 years of continuous service.

Employees will receive:

• 2 days (16 hours) Time Off (to be determined with your Supervisor)
• $100 of ONE of the following:
  • Custom HCDE swag from University Campus Licensee List
  • Amazon Gift Card 
  • 5 Free Lunches (up to the WA state per diem)
• Recognition by senior management at the next quarterly staff meeting.
