All students are required to take the following four courses:
- HCDE 518—User-Centered Design (4 credits) (Autumn)
- HCDE 517—Usability Studies (4 credits) (Winter)
- HCDE 521—UX Speaker Series (1 credit) (Winter)
- HCDE 525—Emerging Issues in Human Centered Design & Engineering
(2 credits) (Spring)
Elective
In addition to the required courses above, students select one elective from the following:
- HCDE 508—Visual Communication (4 credits)
- HCDE 511—Information Visualization (4 credits)
- HCDE 515—Accessibility and Inclusive Design (4 credits)
- HCDE 536—Interaction Design & Prototyping (4 credits)
