The University of Washington Graduate School Office of Public Lectures, in partnership with faculty from Population Health and Communication Leadership is hosting a weekly panel titled “Coexisting with Covid-19.”
On May 7, 2020, Human Centered Design & Engineering Associate Professor Kate Starbird joined Information School Associate Professor Jevin West and Hanson Hosein, director of the Communication Leadership program, for a discussion about how we can be best informed in the face of conflicting information about the pandemic.
"We're facing this unprecedented, extended period of time where there's a lot of open questions, and the best information today may not be the best information tomorrow. And that makes these conditions that are ripe for the spread of misinformation," Starbird says in the interview.
