Sarah Inman
Sarah Inman, a PhD student in the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering, is studying people who are studying salmon.
In her role as a data ethnographer on the State of Alaska’s Salmon and People project, Inman is studying the research practices involved — the data collecting, archiving, and sharing, and the communication between researchers.
The National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) interviews Inman about her experience studying the social dimensions of environmental data science.
