The Human Centered Design & Engineering Undergraduate Student Association (HCDE SA) is a registered student organization founded and operated by undergraduate HCDE students.
The HCDE SA was first established in 2009 with the mission of fostering a sense of community within the department by providing opportunities for socializing and professional networking.

Hi all! I’m Mishti and I’m a senior in HCDE. I enjoy spending my time outdoors, trying new recipes, and going to live music performances. This year, I’m so excited to work with the lovely HCDEsa team to organize fun and meaningful social and professional opportunities for everyone in the major. There’s such a diverse range of interests and passions in our major and I’m looking forward to finding creative ways to offer events that bring our little community together. Hey everyone! I’m Sanmathi, a senior in HCDE. I enjoy reading, drawing, listening to music, and trying new foods. I take pride in being a part of HCDE because of the major’s priority on inclusion, diversity, and empathy. Everyone in HCDE has something to bring to the table, and I hope that this year we can provide social opportunities that allow for every single undergrad to create connections within our community.

Hi! I'm Sophia, and I’m super excited to serve as your Treasurer for the HCDEsa this year! I’m a junior pursuing the Data Science concentration and minoring in Business. As Treasurer, I’ll be working to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and help plan awesome events that bring our community together. Outside of classes, you can find me eating at Cedars on the Ave, playing volleyball at the IMA, studying at Pop Health, and attending concerts.
